In The Stillness

In The Stillness

"We need a Father (all of us), someone to care for us, no matter how old we become..."

In this day and age, stillness disappears. Everyone is busy, everyone has something to do, somewhere to go, etc. Mornings for me are the calm before the storm for sure. They are the "stillness" I long for and truly need for my spirit, soul and body. It is amazing the difference that solitude with my sweet Savior makes in my daily routine.

I push myself out of bed, make coffee, sit at my table, and write my thoughts with the Lord (which sometimes aren't too many that early in the morning, but still) and hear His thoughts towards me through His spirit speaking and through His precious word, the Bible. Whatever is on my heart, I lift up to Him, releasing any burdens or heaviness that could leak out into my day.

We need a Father (all of us), someone to care for us, no matter how old we become...He is ready and waiting to be a part of our day. Taking time in the stillness and really fixing my eyes on Him, gives me such renewed vision + energy for my children, my marriage, and my community as a whole. Keep seeking the things above Beloved...the rich, eternal pleasures of His presence. Don't let busy become your life...let your life become His dwelling place. Take time, invite Him in...He is the difference of love, joy, peace, and every good thing, that I cannot deny. Give the Holy Spirit a true try.

Much love always, Cace
